Course MD-100T00-A: Windows 10
In this course, students will learn how to use and configure the Windows desktop in a corporate environment. Students will develop skills that include learning how to install, customize and update Windows 10 operating systems. Students will learn how to manage storage, files, and devices, as well as how to configure network connectivity for Windows. Students will also learn how to secure the Windows operating system and protect data on the device. Finally, students will learn how to manage and troubleshoot Windows users.
Candidates for this exam are individuals who want to learn how to install, configure, and perform general local administration and maintenance of essential services in Windows 10 and later.
Skills to be acquired:
Install and customize Windows clients
Configure Updates for Windows.
Configure devices and drivers for Windows.
Configure storage for Windows.
Configure network and remote management settings in Windows.
Configure and manage browsers and applications in Windows.
Configure account access and authentication.
Configure file and folder permissions.
Describe methods for securing the Windows client, common threats, and ways to counteract them.
Troubleshooting Windows and application installations.
Troubleshoot hardware and driver problems.
Troubleshoot file issues and perform recovery.
Requirements:
-A second monitor to follow the teacher and perform the applications
-Preferably i7, at least i5 processor
-Preferably 16GB, at least 8GB RAM
-At least 256GB SSD disk
1 day a week: Wednesday (3 lesson hours) 18:00-21:00 (Berlin-Europa)
Quota: Maximum 20
Lesson Hours: 40 (13 Weeks)
